I met B.J. in 2002 when the idea of The Old Guard Monument
blossomed in the mind of Colonel James Laufenburg, then
Commander of the 3rd U.S. Infantry, The Old Guard.
I knew very little about her, but soon I would learn a great
deal about this wonderful and talented lady.
She has the magnificent ability to translate thought into
process and ideas into tangible creations. Her talent is
only equaled by her energy, elegance, and perseverance.
